“For I am convinced that nothing ...can separate us from the Love of God that is in Christ Jesus.” Romans 8:38 This is our theme verse and the lesson we will be teaching our children.
I am also convinced that God has called each of the nine of us to go to the DRC. We will represent the body of Christ at Sojourn Church to the children we sponsor there.
In spite of the language barrier, the high cost of travel to the DRC, an Ebola outbreak, and lost employment no one who has committed to go has wavered in their determination to go and serve.
Sojourn Church has carried us along with encouragement and incredible financial generosity. We are honored by these affirmations of our call.
We have been intentional about time in the Word and we have fasted to consecrate ourselves to the task entrusted to us. We are totally dependent on the Lord to enable us to serve and love well.
Please pray God works in and through us in ways that exceed our expectations.
