Everyday Miracles

Made it through two 8-hour flights, double security, customs, even Kinshasa traffic where anything goes (really, anything), and got to our DRC headquarters last night. Our first moments and first meal have already been eye opening and new for so many of us. Flying in, we watched the sun set over the clouds and caught a very brief glimpse of the mighty Congo River. We managed to get every single piece of luggage off the plane, out the door and to our motel - Glenn reminded us that smooth travel in itself is a miracle from God! We ended our evening with some new foods to many of us, including DRC cooked fish and the protein-filled caterpillar. We’re starting an “I Ate a Caterpillar” club; you know what to do to join…

As we start our first full day and prep for the coming projects and camps, prayers that God continues to show up with miraculous faithfulness - in the big things, and the small.

P.S. Limited internet may lead to fewer pics now, but we will have LOTS when we are done. Thanks for your prayer!
